I acknowledge the muwinina people, the traditional owners of nipaluna, on whose Country I live, work and play, and the palawa people of lutruwita, whose connection to land, sea and sky has continued unbroken for tens of thousands of years.
As I write about the future of this planet, I recognise that the knowledge we need has long been held here, and that caring for Country is not a new idea. I pay my respects to Elders past and present, and to any Aboriginal people with us today. Sovereignty was never ceded.
