Climate change, social, and environmental issues are interlinked. With experience using various sustainability methodologies and frameworks, I can also provide a range of practical, co-created solutions that are community-centered and help connect their needs to the environment.

Buen Vivir Framework for Socio-Eco Wellbeing

Buen Vivir is a practical alternative way of achieving sustainability and wellbeing. It is a holistic and cooperative way forward that places equal importance on human and environmental wellbeing through a set of core principles and a way of life. This way of approaching wellbeing is called Socio-Eco Wellbeing. Learning from local communities in Ecuador, I have developed a framework around the 17 principles for Buen Vivir based on community practice and philosophy that serves as a tool for communities to drive change for themselves. It also serves as guidance for local governments and development professionals to help facilitate change in their communities.
